Greetings fellow Rocketeers. My name is Doctor Avatar and it is my mission to look after the computer core that records and stores all the adventures of Jonnie Rocket and his amazing space-rocket Tycho 8. Well, I'm in BIG trouble and I need your help!
What happened, well it wasn't my fault - it was Blink my pet Restorus (he’s like an Earth cat, but even more mischievous!). He knocked over the can of fizzy glob-pop, and where did the contents of the can go? That's right, into the computer core!
There was smoke and fizzing and popping and most of it was from the computer. Now remember this everybody, fizzy glob-pop and computer cores do not get on very well together!
When the smoke had cleared and I managed to make the computer work again, I noticed that all the aliens and creatures from Jonnie's stories of the amazing adventures had escaped! They had whizzed out amongst the stars and fallen from the sky like raindrops into the minds and imaginations of all you wonderful Earth girls and boys and I need your help to get them back.
Those naughty creatures and aliens are hiding from me! I guess they're being a bit adventurous themselves! So, what I need you to do, is to imagine what your own version of Jonnie Rocket’s alien, creature or friend would look like, and tell me all about him or her, and then send it to the computer core.
I'll then be able to put all those aliens and creatures back into their stories in the computer, before anybody notices; and we'll be able to share all the best stories with everybody else. Won't that be ace?
Now, the computer core is a really complicated machine (even more complicated than Granny Avatar's knitting and that's complicated!) so the more you can tell me about the creature or alien in your imagination, that you think Jonnie should meet, the easier it will be for me to put it back in the right place inside the computer core. So things you might like to think about:
Is your creature:
- Blue, green, red, yellow, purple or another colour?
- Tall or short?
- How many arms, legs and eyes?
- How they move around?
- Where did Jonnie meet this alien or new friend?
- Is he or she friendly?
- Really intelligent?
- Happy or sad?
I know you will be able to do this, you're such clever Earth children! The more you tell me, the faster I can work, and I will have to work really fast to get all the stories back in order before Jonnie notices.
How about this! As a big thank-you, the very best creature, alien or friend that comes back to the core will be transformed into a very SPECIAL new story. Then I'll ask Jonnie to sign a copy of this new story for you, as well as a copy of his first book, so you can tell everyone how you helped Jonnie and Tycho 8 continue on their adventures.
Right, I must dash. I've just spotted a big puddle of fizzy glob-pop! That stuff gets everywhere! Now remember, let your imaginations go wild! Have fun!
