Welcome to the Jonnie Rocket School Section
My name is John Chapman and I am the Author of The Adventures of Jonnie Rocket. Jonnie Rocket is an average young boy who does what every other boy does until he rides his bike. His world then changes and all manner of adventures lie ahead of him. He travels into space and meets the unusual, the predictable and the unbelievable on his adventures. He learns how to cope with new situations, problem solve his way out of difficult corners and apply what he has learnt to what lies ahead of him.
Jonnie is the starting point for a child’s inspiration to learn new things and investigate what they already know. The possibilities for the use of the book and Jonnie’s adventures are numerous and easily fit into and meet curriculum requirements across the EYFS, KS1 and 2.
